The Copain Les Voisins Chardonnay is an elegant, complex white wine sourced from the Anderson Valley AVA in California's Mendocino County. The Les Voisins, French for “the neighbors,” wines are derived from closely clustered, neighboring vineyards, offering a nuanced and tightly focused reflection of Anderson Valley and Yorkville Highlands. Aged in majority neutral oak, this wine has a crisp acidity that carries all the way through the finish. This white wine exhibits aromas of lemon, apple, pine and pear. On the palate, lemon, pear and minerality. No oak influence, with a crisp acidity that carries through the finish. Pair with spring and summer salads, lemon roasted chicken, salmon.

Vineyard Notes
Copain, meaning ‘friend’ or ‘buddy’ in French, embodies our philosophy that wine enhances the good things in life, and is an experience best shared with friends and family. Perched on a hillside overlooking the bucolic Russian River Valley, Copain specializes in vineyard designate Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah. Founded in 1999, Copain has built a reputation of producing food friendly, balanced and expressive wines in the ‘light-and-bright’ style. Sourced from sustainable vineyard sites in Anderson Valley, Mendocino County and Monterey County, the portfolio consists of three distinct collections—the Tous Ensemble wines, the Les Voisins wines, and the single vineyard designate wines. Our style has long been inspired by the restrained and elegant wines of France’s Rhône Valley. The grapes are picked early to impart vibrant acidity and the wine undergoes minimum manipulation in the cellar. Coaxing lively, energetic wines with bright, fresh flavors has become Copain’s signature.
